The Path to God

Your soul is yearning for such a ‘love’ that could extend the peace and happiness of your mind to a non-ending limit and make your heart blissful forever.

That love is neither a feature of your own mind nor a quality of this mundane world. That is Divine, and that is God, and that God is Krishn, Who is all-attractive, allcharming, all-beautiful and all-blissful.

God has two main powers, almightiness and Divine love, where Divine love is the supreme power and the power of almightiness is submissively established in it. Krishn is the form of Divine love so He is the supreme form of God.

♥

Radha is the soul of Krishn or you can say that Radha’s other form is Krishn, so the all-blissful and all-charming beauty of Krishn is, in fact, the eternal charm of Radha. Thus, Radha Krishn are Both one in two forms. Radha is in Krishn and Krishn is in Radha, and They are the Soul of all the souls. That’s why, although unknowingly, every soul is longing to receive Their love.

There are some more Divine forms of God and Goddess like, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga, Lakchmi, Gauri, etc., but they are all the almighty forms of God. Radha is the absolute supreme Goddess from Whom all other Goddesses (Durga, Lakchmi, Gauri etc.) emanate. Similarly from supreme God Krishn all other forms of God (Vishnu, Shiva etc.) emanate. Bhagwan Ram and Dwarika Dhish are the expansions of Krishn’s personal Divine love form mixed with almightiness. All of these Divine forms of God are eternal.

Radha’s name should be taken with love and dedication. The description of Her name, form and virtues are only for devotional remembrance, not for intellectual indulgence.

Divine matters are beyond material intellect. Their explanations are for such devotees who sincerely desire to find God, so they should be taken with faith.

♥

The Divine Vrindaban is the eternal abode of Radha Krishn. That is omnipresent and is the expansion of Radha’s own personality. It is established in its own glory and exists in its own Divine dimension where each and every thing is a manifestation of the power of Divine love.

♥

This is the absolute supreme state of the Divine love realm that can be obtained by any soul provided his intellect has accepted this truth without any hesitation and he follows the path of divine-love-consciousness without any demands.

♥

If, for any reason, your mind resists accepting the form of ‘Radha Krishn’ in the beginning, there is an alternative. You can imagine a ‘form’ of God of your liking, imbue all the above mentioned Divine love qualities in it and humbly remember Him as your Divine beloved requesting Him to reveal His most loving form. This will put you on the right path of devotion.

There are two kinds of absolute: material (mayic) absolute and Divine absolute.

Material or mayic absolute is cosmic nothingness, the endless space, the original mayic substance, unlimited potency of cosmic energies and the endless expansion of galaxies. So, the believers of formless absolute always indulge in mayic (material) realm because, substantially, it is only the pious quality of maya which they call the ‘absolute truth’.

The cosmic power ‘maya’ has many inherent qualities that manifest in various forms. One of them is ‘self-euphoric’ feeling or experience which is a ‘sattvik’ or ‘rajas’ manifestation of maya. Happiness derived out of any kind of sensual gratification is ‘rajas’, and happiness attained through technical meditation, true practice of yogic samadhi or any such similar processes is ‘sattvik’. It does not come into the ‘spiritual’ category even if you are believing it as spiritual or Godly. The Bhagwatam says, “man nishtham nirgunam smritam.” It means, “Only the experiences of an intimate affinity resulting from the relational feeling towards the Personality of God (Radha Krishn) are classified ‘spiritual’, because they bypass the entire field of maya.”

The modern concept of ‘God within us’ needs refining. It is an intellectual dilemma if a person says that the allblissful form of God is within him, yet he is unhappy and miserable. Although God is omnipresent in every molecule of the universe but He is nonexperiential to material beings. The effect His affectional blissfulness evolves only through sincere dedication and the practice of divine-love-consciousness when a devotee begins to feel the presence of his Divine beloved ‘close’ to him, not ‘within’ him.

Human mind, being substantially conditioned to the laws of cosmic manifestation, co-relates only to material creations and existences. Practically it cannot understand the Divine matters because unperceived things cannot be imagined and unimagined things cannot be understood. So Divine love matters should be taken with faith.

However, for your intellectual satisfaction I shall say that the character and existence of the Divine is exactly opposite to the material. That’s why material laws do not apply in the Divine realm.

♥

Every material existence is related to time and space factors. Again, the relative objects and substances have ‘physical limitations’ and they are all substantially mindless and inanimate, whereas there are no ‘limitations’ in the Divine existence, because material-like time and space factors do not exist in that realm. The Divine existence is also the Divine mind (having Divine form with Divine qualities), so He and all of His ‘unlimited’ powers are self-submissively related and attached to each other.

Every material perception, imagination and understanding has ‘physical limitations’. But, Divine perception and Divine understanding is of the ‘Divineunlimited’. So, God can be perceived in His absolute capacity and only in His absolute capacity, because every Divine thing is ‘unlimited’. This phenomenon is beyond human logic, because human perceptions relate to ‘physically limited’ things only.

It is a Divine secret that can never be intellectually understood that how Krishn is seen playing with Gopis or quarreling with His mother Yashoda, yet, simultaneously, He is holding the endless universe within Him. However, it is a fact. That is why Krishn is Supreme God and the perception of His form is the perception of the Divine-absolute that reveals the absolute beauty and charm of Divine love. But, such a perception is possible only with the Divine senses and the Divine mind of a rasik Saint.

This Divine situation has been beautifully described by Jagadguru Shankaracharya in the verse, “yadyapi sakaroyam,” also mentioned in the Bhagwatam, in the tenth canto, and explained in the Upanishad (Ved) by the verse, “Narayanokhil-brahmandadhi-pati-rekoanshah.”

To be more specific, Krishn is the supreme form of the Personality of God. When He descends on the earth planet, He is still the same. All the rasik Saints of this earth planet perceive Him in the same Divine form and describe His beauty, charm, love and decorations in locally spoken language. These descriptions become the guideline for the devotees seeking Divine love. Accordingly, a devotee forms the image of Radha Krishn in his mind and, believing Him as his Divine beloved, he lovingly remembers Him and seeks His Grace to have His Divine vision.

Devotion to Radha Krishn may start only when intellectual hypothesis has stopped. You will see it is so simple, if you just accept Him as your Divine beloved.

If you have even the least desire to find God, there is no reason why you cannot accept Radha Krishn as yours. It is only the ignorance of the mind and the negative reserve of your past lives which is causing doubts in your conscious mind.

♥

If such is the case, pray to your God every night and morning with sincere emotions, asking Him to reveal the lovingness of Radha Krishn in your heart.

Although ominipresent, the Bliss of Divine Vrindaban exists in its own supreme Divine dimension. There is no direct link between material phenomena and Divine phenomena.

Such God realized personalities who have attained the Divine love of Radha Krishn, represent Radha Krishn on this earth planet. They are called rasik Saints. They are the link and they aspire to achieve Divine love and feel a need of Radha Krishn love in their life.

A Divine associate of Radha represents both Radha and Krishn, but a Divine associate of Krishn may represent only Krishn. So, there are subtle designated differences in the classes of Saints. However, these situations are beyond intellect.

On your own you can never find a real Divine guide, because it is not an intellectual search. It is a sincere yearning of your heart to find God that qualifies you to come across such a Master. If you are ready, you will recognize him to the extent of your dedicated humbleness.

When a soul is ready, a Master comes into his life.

You should know that you have to qualify yourself to find a true Spiritual guide as a link to Divine Vrindaban.

On the basis of intellectual analysis you can never recognize a Saint. The spiritual power of a Saint is not seen in his physical behavior. It is observed on the basis of a dedicated heart when a person faithfully unites his mind with him and begins to trust him.

Dedication is an unconditional submission of the heart and mind to the service of your beloved Master. It confers a unity with the mind of the Master, and it becomes a channel to devotional experiences on the path of Divine love.

♥

Past is bygone, and future is obscure; the present is yours. Use it for the realization of Divine love before it is too late.

♥

Divine love (of Radha Krishn) can only be attained in a human life. This is the chance for which your soul has been longing for millions of years. This life of yours is precious. Don’t waste it in imaginary hallucinations of material excitements. Enter into divine-love-consciousness and experience the bliss of Radha Krishn love.

There is an impressive example of King Bhartrihari of India who was extremely in love with his queen. One day he discovered that his queen desired his servant who was already in love with another woman. This incident opened his eyes. He immediately turned his face from the deceptive visions of sensual attractions of the world and entered into selfless devotion to God.

The history of our Vedas dates back as far as 1.972 billion years, when Brahma renovated this earth planet. Its latest reproduction, along with the Gita and the Bhagwatam, was about 5,000 years ago. You should know that our Sanskrit language is an eternal language. It was never formed and developed like other languages in the world.

The Vedas say (bhakti rev bhooyasi) that divine-love-consciousness is the only supreme path to God. The Gita says (bhaktya twananyaya) that selfless consciousness of Divine love ensures Divine vision, Divine knowledge and Divine unity with the Supreme form of God, Krishn; and the Bhagwatam tells us (pibat Bhagwatam) to attain the nectar of the bliss of Krishn love through divine-love-consciousness and drink it till eternity.

Hundreds of Saints have proclaimed the authenticity of the path of divine-love-consciousness. They have experienced, propagated and described it in their writings.

♥

So we have a very precise, specific, scientific, and definite philosophy of Divine love and divine-love-consciousness which is not bound to any religion or any sect of Krishn devotion because most of such sects were formed within the last five hundred years and other religions were formed within the last three thousand years. This ‘knowledge’ of Divine love’, which is, for the first time, brought to the Western world through our organization, has been directly introduced, revived and established by Radha Herself when She descended upon this earth. There have been many descensions of Radha Krishn during the life span of this earth planet. The latest one was five thousand years ago.

Krishn philosophy is very, very deep. A great rasik Saint said that there are only a few on this earth who understand this truth (eak doi jo paiye khojiya sab sansar). This knowledge was rejuvenated, established and spread in India by the Saints of Vrindaban about five hundred ago. But, in the last three hundred years it was almost lost in the midst of new ideologies of various organizations. Our Society is re-establishing the same ‘original’ path of divine-love-consciousness in the world.

Krishn has many forms according to His various Divine powers. So, when we talk of Krishn, we refer to the intimate Divine form of Krishn, Krishn of Vrindaban Who adores Radha and is always absorbed in Radha’s love. That’s why our description of Radha Krishn differs from other religions’ description of Krishn.

So, the philosophy of Divine love is an eternal truth, the path of divine-love-consciousness is an eternal religion, and the Bliss of Radha Krishn is the actual Divine substance your soul has been looking for since eternity.

“Golokdhamni nij-dham-taley cha tasya…” The Brahm Sanhita describes the sequential importance and superiority of the Divine abodes and says that the Divine abodes of all other forms of God and Goddess are situated below Golok abode. The Divine Vrindaban is still superior and is established in its own absolute supreme glory. Its Bliss is revealed through divine-love-consciousness.

It is the Grace of Radha Krishn that They have manifested Themselves in the forms of Their ‘names’ in the world. The name imbues all the virtues of Radha Krishn and it is the direct means of experiencing Divine love but it has to be practiced correctly, wholeheartedly and under the guidance of a Saint (the Divine Master).

The negative reserves of past lives and also of this lifetime, which mainly include spiritual transgressions, are the main obstructions that block the divine love receptivity of the mind.

When a devotee’s heart is united with such a Master who is the form of Radha Krishn, he receives the Grace of the Master that redeems his spiritual transgressions to the extent of his dedication. The devotee then begins to experience some ‘affinity’ with Radha Krishn, and the liking for the name and its chanting begins to dawn in his mind. This is the process. The Graciousness of Kripalu Mahaprabhuji, who is the supreme Jagadguru (the Divine Spiritual Master for the whole world) of this age, is world known. He Graces everyone whoever lovingly remembers him.

‘Affinity’ is experienced only after this link is formed between the devotee and the Master. There is no technique in the world to produce affinity for Radha Krishn because it is the effect of the Grace of the Master. It is not the outcome of any kind of practice on the devotee’s part.

A selfish, worldly person needs to follow the social and ethical rules to become good. A good person needs to follow the devotional rules in order to develop his consciousness of Divine love and to experience affinity for Radha Krishn. But a Divine personality (Saint) is beyond the limits of all kinds of disciplines.

♥

Thus, a Saint lives a normal life. He is not bound to any religious rules regarding his living patter; rather he lives according to his free will. But his spirituality can surely be felt according to the strength of the devotee’s unquestioned dedication.

♥

Sometimes people are inquisitive about my spiritual identity. I don’t know how to answer them, because when I look into myself I don’t find any pride within me to call myself a great Master. I only feel that I am an eternal devotee of Radha Rani Who, in the form of my soul beloved Kripalu, is always with me. My heart and my soul fully belongs to him and Divine Vrindaban. I care for the devotees and help them develop their consciousness of Divine love.

Our initiation is mainly internal. It is a direct Grace of Jagadguru Kripalu Mahaprabhu on a dedicated soul. A person willing to be initiated should become Life Member of our Society and attend the regular meetings held at our Center for such a length of time until he feels mentally relaxed and begins to feel the need of God in his life, believing Radha Krishn as his Divine beloved. When he is ready, we give him devotional chanting and explain the process of devotion and the remembrance of the name.

The effects of our meetings are evident. From the very first meeting you attend, you feel relaxed and your heart accepts the power of Divine love, but your mind takes time to accept this fact. You heart has always desired God’s love, it is only your mind that has confused you by accepting different ideologies which are the outcome of material minds.

When you start practicing ‘remembrance’ and ‘chanting meditation’, your heart begins to open up and a surge of divine love energy permeates your whole being, bringing contentment, confidence and security in your life.

Your conscious mind is not the total mind. There are many more sections and layers of your mind. This is the beauty of Krishn-affinity (divine-love-consciousness) that it affects and purifies all the layers of your mind. That is how, at a higher state, your subtle consciousness of divine love remains unbroken even during sleep. That makes the path of divine-love-consciousness very special.

The feeling of deep affinity for Radha Krishn and the feeling that your soul is truly related to Him, is called ‘bhao’. Bhao develops confidence in the Divine beloved and the devotee adores Him more and more. Such a bhao or affinity is a great asset for a devotee. It can never by attained by any amount of yog or religious practices, as it is a gift from the Divine Master. It should be carefully protected and maintained.

The practical process of the path of divine-love-consciousness can be described as: dedication, devotion and service, longing to have the vision of Radha Krishn in this lifetime, and ceasing material intellectual indulgence.

♥

Service is a token of your love and dedication at you Master’s feet which he accepts out of his kindness. If a rasik Saint accepts your services, it is only his Grace upon you.

♥

Service purifies the heart, increases the feeling of dedication and attracts the personal attention of your Divine guide, whereas devotion develops your confidence in the attainment of Radha Krishn. At a certain state devotion also becomes a form of service.

♥

When you are engrossed in fulfilling any service given to you, you become special for me and your selfless service makes me think of you more lovingly.

Although the effect of divine-love-consciousness is deep and profound, every person has more or less negative reserves (bad sanskars) of past lives, and again, the degree of his devotional consciousness also varies. So, he has to carefully maintain his bhao and keep himself away from the distracting elements.

There are periods of good and bad days in everyone’s life and this world is always waiting with a sweet illusory charm to divert your devotional attitude.

Regardless of the style or nature of the relation, it is an axiom that a human mind receives the qualities of the person to whom he is emotionally or faithfully attached. Thus, the attachment with a worldly being or a sanctimonious teacher develops only worldliness in a human mind.

♥

Deep sensual attachments and materially based ideologies promoting intellectual meditation are the main elements that damage the devotional feelings. If, for any reason, a devotee gets involved into them, they pollute the dedication of the devotee and develop slyness in him. So, they should be avoided.

♥

Unnecessary gossiping, fault finding in others, and entering into criticism is a common weakness of a human being. A devotee must avoid it. Such a habit may cause spiritual transgressions and lead him into trouble.

♥

Negative thinking of any kind immediately creates negative sanskars, defaults your devotion and restricts the Grace. It must be avoided and replaced with a loving positive thinking in the mind.

♥

The fascinating world has always distracted you and your material mind has always deceived you. You should know that there are the best chances of Krishn realization for such a dedicated devotee who, keeping himself away from negative thoughts and distracting associations, believes that his body, mind and soul are only for the Divine service of Radha Krishn.

♥

For these reasons a dedicated single person holds better chances of experiencing Krishn love in this lifetime as compared to an emotionally attached married person.

If, under the influence of bad sanksars, the devotee firmly holds on to the personal advice of his Divine guide, the bad days of his devotional life may gently pass and he may regain his lost consciousness of Krishn affinity.

♥

The power of Divine love is exceedingly powerful when evolved, but it needs cultivating in the beginning because of one’s own inherent weaknesses.

♥

Once you have tasted the sweetness of divine love and the exhilaration of the devotional bliss issuing from the loving remembrance of your Divine beloved Radha Krishn, you will begin to experience a contented fulfillment in your life. The void in your heart that resulted from the deep suppressions of disappointments and unfulfilled emotions of love in your childhood or adult life, will be filled with a devotional joy and you will begin to feel the closeness of your supreme Divine beloved Radha Krishn. Then, what else do you need?

Divine-love-consciousness will bring world peace when freely adopted in the society.
